Appropriates $31,400,000 from the State General Fund to the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning for Jackson State University projects in fiscal year 2027

Allocates $12,900,000 for interior renovations to the T.B. Ellis Building and Annex

Provides $8,500,000 for renovations to the Heritage Building and $5,700,000 for renovations to the Rose E. McCoy Auditorium

Dedicates $4,300,000 for Campus Safety Project enhancements to improve protection for students, faculty, and staff

Takes effect July 1, 2026
