Authorizes the Mississippi Department of Public Safety to contract with towns (municipalities classified under Section 21-1-1) to provide security personnel using Capitol Complex Improvement District officers within town boundaries.

Contracts are limited to part-time security personnel for periods of 30, 60, or 90 days at a time, with a maximum of 90 days of security assistance per calendar year per town.

Amends Section 45-1-19 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which governs the jurisdiction and authority of the Department of Public Safety and Capitol Police.

Brings forward Section 29-5-203 defining the Capitol Complex Improvement District boundaries in Jackson, Mississippi, for possible amendment.

Effective date is July 1, 2026.
