Extends the construction start deadline for renewable energy projects to qualify for partial ad valorem tax exemption from December 31, 2027 to December 31, 2030.

Extends the deadline for county boards of supervisors and municipal governing authorities to authorize partial ad valorem tax exemptions for qualifying renewable energy projects from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2029.

Extends the deadline for local governments to enter into fee-in-lieu of ad valorem tax agreements with renewable energy projects at the reduced one-tenth (1/10) minimum rate from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2029.

Qualifying renewable energy projects may receive a 50% exemption from ad valorem taxation for 10 years after the expiration of their fee-in-lieu agreement.

The bill takes effect July 1, 2026.
