Registered voters placed on inactive status after receiving a confirmation notice would be automatically returned to active status upon casting an affidavit ballot

The bill amends three sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972: Section 23-15-573 (affidavit ballots), Section 23-15-13 (precinct transfers), and Section 23-15-152 (confirmation notices and inactive status)

Effective date is July 1, 2028
