Appropriates $1,000,000 from the State General Fund to the Sharkey County Board of Supervisors for fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027)

Funds will establish a regional housing recovery strategy in partnership with federal and state agencies to restore housing levels following the 2023 tornado

Appropriation also covers planning for workforce housing needs required by new business and industry development in the area

State Treasurer will disburse funds upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer based on properly signed requisitions
