Repeals Mississippi's abortion prohibition (Section 41-41-45), which currently bans abortion except to save the mother's life or in cases of rape

Eliminates the felony crime for any person who willfully causes a pregnant woman to abort or miscarry (Section 97-3-3)

Removes the felony penalty for allowing a child delivered in a failed abortion to die (Section 97-3-4)

Repeals the misdemeanor crime for providing instruments or medicine to assist in obtaining an abortion (Section 97-3-5)

Takes effect July 1, 2026
