Circuit clerks, municipal clerks, county election commissions, and municipal election commissions are now required to enter into written agreements with county or municipal executive committees when the executive committee elects to delegate all of its election-related duties to them

The bill applies to political parties that received at least 10% of the gubernatorial vote in the last two elections or 25% in three of the last five gubernatorial elections

Duties that can be delegated include conducting poll manager training, appointing poll managers, distributing and managing ballot boxes, printing ballots, and canvassing election returns

Executive committees must notify their state executive committee and the Secretary of State when such agreements are executed

The bill takes effect July 1, 2026
