Extends the repealer date on the Mississippi Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (MAICU) Infrastructure Grant Program from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2029

Extends the deadline for grant fund availability from December 31, 2026 to December 31, 2029, allowing eligible institutions more time to complete infrastructure projects

The grant program provides reimbursable grants using federal ARPA funds for water, wastewater, stormwater, broadband, and other eligible infrastructure projects at seven private colleges: Belhaven University, Blue Mountain College, Millsaps College, Mississippi College, Rust College, Tougaloo College, and William Carey University

Grant funds are distributed based on each institution's pro rata share of full-time equivalent students, with full-time students counting as 1.0, part-time as 0.5, and online students as 0.25

The Department of Finance and Administration may retain up to $200,000 from total program funds for administrative costs
