Columbia Academy Lady Cougars Cross Country Team won the 2025 MAIS Class 3A State Championship, the program's fourth state title in its history.

The team placed five runners in the top 10 finishers and defeated defending champion Kirk Academy by 24 points.

Team Captain Briley Speights became the first individual Lady Cougar Cross Country State Champion in Columbia Academy history and set a school record with four consecutive regular-season victories.

The team won eight of ten invitational meets during the regular season, including six consecutive victories and the Blue Division of the "Watson" Invitational at Mississippi College.

Team members include Briley Speights, Ansley Armstrong, Emmi Burrell, Bryleigh Robertson, Alli Burrell, Charlee Kate Bond, Kortlyn Bracey, Harper Jones, Selia Kilpatrick, and Kenedy Morgan.
