Kossuth High School Aggies Cheerleading Team won the 2026 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship in two divisions: Large Non-Tumbling Game Day and Small Non-Tumbling Intermediate Traditional, held at Walt Disney World Resort in early February 2026

The team also captured their fifth consecutive MHSAA State Cheerleading Championship in the 3A Game Day Division in December, and has won state titles in six of the past seven years (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025)

The 22-member squad is coached by Cheer Coach Baylee Connell with choreography by Joseph Arkansas

Resolution introduced by Representative Mattox and adopted by the Mississippi House of Representatives to officially commend the team and extend best wishes for future athletic and academic endeavors
