Tishomingo County High School Lady Braves won the 2026 MHSAA Class 4A State Basketball Championship with a 28-2 overall record, winning all five playoff games by an average margin of 26 points

Head Coach John Strickland won a state championship in his first year leading the program and was named Region 1-4A Coach of the Year

The team converted 27 of 30 free throws in the championship game, recognized as one of the most outstanding free throw shooting performances in championship history

Senior starters Abbi Reed and Chloe Glidewell completed their careers with a perfect 63-0 home record; the team also captured its sixth consecutive Region 1-4A Championship

Individual honors included Meg Moore named 2025 Miss 4A Basketball, Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year, and championship game MVP; Kazli Timbes named 2026 Miss 4A Basketball and Region 1-4A Defensive Player of the Year
