West Lauderdale High School Lady Knights Soccer Team won the MHSAA Class 4A State Championship on February 21, 2026, defeating New Albany Lady Bulldogs 3-0 at Ridgeland High School

Sophomore Aubri Cooper scored two goals (both penalty kicks) and was named MVP of the championship match; freshman Harleigh Culpepper added the second goal

The team finished the season ranked 5th in Mississippi with a 19-5-1 record, scoring 96 goals while conceding only 18

Head Coach Brandon Rodgers and Assistant Coach Celeste Copeland led a 33-player roster to the championship after the team lost 2-1 in the 2025 title game

The Mississippi House of Representatives formally commends the team and directs copies of the resolution be sent to the team and Capitol Press Corps
