Jakob Edward Kindt, a Critical Care Master Paramedic with the University of Mississippi Medical Center Flight team, died on March 10, 2025, when his helicopter crashed in Madison County, Mississippi, along with two colleagues

Born April 9, 1987, in Tupelo, Mississippi, Kindt graduated from Mantachie High School and earned an associate's degree in paramedic science from Itawamba Community College with a 4.0 GPA while working full time at Lee County 911

Kindt began his emergency response career at age 17 with the Mantachie Fire Department and advanced to write recertification manuals for paramedics

The Mississippi House of Representatives honors his ultimate sacrifice in service to others and expresses sadness upon his passing
