The team won Game 1 by a score of 7-1, then rallied from a 6-3 deficit in Game 2 to win 9-6 by scoring six runs in the final two innings

Collin Waldrip was named Championship Series Most Valuable Player after going 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs

This marks the second state championship in school history, following the program's first title in 2006; the team finished as state runner-up in 2024
