West Lauderdale High School Knights Cheerleading Squad won the 2025 MHSAA 4A State Championship on December 13, 2025, at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, marking their second consecutive state title in the Varsity Game Day 4A Division.

The squad also earned division titles in both Game Day and Traditional categories at the 2025 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Magnolia Regional.

Head Coach Courtney Smith led the team in her first year at West Lauderdale, with choreography by Laura Posey.

The 24-member squad includes student-athletes: Addison McPherson, Addy Miller, Allie Parten, Aselyn Thompson, Ashlyn Clay, Audrey Busfield, Bella Watson, De'Zyion Wilson, Gracie Joyner, Jace Letkiewicz, Kalie Church, Kassie Calvert, Kaylee Flake, Kaylee Walker, Kennedy Hicks, Kennedy Thompson, Kinsley Snyder, Laci Boswell, Lanie Williams, Makenzie Gilson, Melanie Rodgers, Rose Johnson, Sarah Higginbotham, and Taylor Perryman.
