Mississippi House Resolution 54 commends David Hoke of Understanding the Word Ministries for delivering personalized Life Application Study Bibles to Mississippi legislators

Hoke began his Bible distribution mission in 2020 in Lafayette, Louisiana, customizing each Bible with the recipient's name and personal interests

The ministry has distributed over 30,000 Bibles to 16 countries including Peru, Colombia, Cuba, Russia, the Philippines, South Africa, and the United States

Hoke has delivered Bibles to legislators in 30 of 50 states, with plans to complete all state deliveries by June 2026 and then expand to federal officials, local governments, and foreign leaders

The resolution directs copies be furnished to David Hoke and the Capitol Press Corps
