Lamar School "Raiders" Boys Soccer Team won the 2025-2026 MAIS Class 4A Division II State Championship with a 4-1 victory over Heritage Academy at Madison-Ridgeland Academy in Madison, Mississippi

Goals were scored by Blake Harris (assisted by Logan Cross), Austin Wichman (two goals), and Benson Oates (penalty kick) to secure the commanding win

Head Coach Rusty Warden led the 35-player roster through a season that represented years of dedication, particularly for the senior class that persevered through previous seasons of adversity

The resolution recognizes school leadership including Head of School Leigh Ann Ballou, Athletic Director Matt Boone, and Athletic Trainer Alan Tingle for their support of the program
