St. Patrick Catholic High School Lady Irish Soccer Team won their fourth consecutive Class 1A State Championship on February 13, 2026, defeating St. Andrew's Episcopal School 2-0 in the title game

The team finished with an 18-4-4 overall record, achieved a perfect 9-0 district record, and secured their sixth consecutive District Championship

Bella Jordan was named MVP of the state championship game, and three seniors (Bella Jordan, Gia Encrapera, and Samantha Johnson) will continue playing soccer at the collegiate level

Head Coach Angela McClure and Assistant Coaches Courtney Head, Carissa Harrison, and Jim Thriffiley led the team, which featured 11 seniors including captains Nora Mestayer, Lila Miller, Bella Jordan, and Samantha Johnson

The Mississippi House of Representatives officially commends the team and directs copies of the resolution be furnished to the team and Capitol Press Corps
