St. Patrick High School Men's Soccer Team defeated St. Andrew's Episcopal School 1-0 on February 20, 2026, to win the MHSAA Class I Boys Soccer State Championship in Ridgeland, Mississippi, the school's first state title in nearly a decade

The Fighting Irish finished the season 23-3 with a perfect 10-0 region record, scoring 95 goals while conceding only 14, and were ranked #2 in Mississippi and #18 nationally across all classifications by MaxPreps

Tristan Davis scored the championship-winning goal with a 60-yard kick and was named Match MVP, while Cameron Messer was named Mississippi Coast Player of the Year

Head Coach Ryan Worsham, in his fifth year, led the team along with assistant coaches BJ Williams and Zach Seymour, with six senior players committed to continue playing at the collegiate level

The Mississippi House of Representatives formally commends the team and coaches, with copies of the resolution furnished to Head Coach Worsham and the Capitol Press Corps
