Madison Central High School Boys Soccer Team won the 2026 MHSAA Class 7A State Championship on February 21, 2026, defeating Biloxi High School 2-0 in Ridgeland, Mississippi

The team achieved back-to-back state championships with an undefeated 21-0-2 season record, allowing only five goals in 23 games

Carson Pentecost scored the first goal and was named Most Valuable Player of the State Championship; Tanner Nichols added a header goal in the final 15 minutes

Head Coach Seth Male led the team alongside assistant coaches Brad Campbell and Simon Barinas, with a roster of 43 players

The Mississippi House of Representatives officially commends the team's excellence and directs copies of the resolution be furnished to the coaching staff and Capitol Press Corps
