Nora Roberts Miller, CPA, is commended for her service as the 15th president of Mississippi University for Women (The W), where she became the first alumna to lead the institution after being appointed in 2018

Under her leadership, The W launched its first comprehensive capital campaign, raising more than $25,000,000 to support students, academic programs, and campus improvements

The W's graduates earn approximately $63,197 four years after graduation (highest among Mississippi public universities) while carrying the state's lowest median federal student loan debt at $15,000

The university generates more than $215,000,000 in annual statewide economic impact and ranks No. 14 among America's Best Colleges for Women, with nursing programs in the top four percent nationally

Miller previously served 17 years as Vice President and Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration at The W, following earlier roles with the Mississippi Office of State Auditor and Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning
