Doubles the annual support staff allowance for circuit judges and chancellors from $130,000 to $260,000 per fiscal year, managed through the Administrative Office of Courts

Maintains the existing $15,000 annual office operating allowance for expenses such as law clerks, legal research, office equipment, telephone, rent, and approved out-of-state continuing legal education

Support staff positions (court administrators, law clerks, legal research assistants, secretaries) must be approved by the Administrative Office of Courts before hiring

Preserves the additional $7,000 annual allowance for judges who did not have county-provided office space as of March 1, 1988
