Amends Mississippi Code Section 43-19-101 to allow courts to consider health insurance costs paid by noncustodial parents when calculating child support awards.

When a noncustodial parent is ordered to obtain health insurance coverage for a child, the cost of that coverage may be treated as an adjustment to their adjusted gross income for child support calculation purposes.

Current law already allows the cost of health insurance to be considered when the custodial parent obtains coverage; this bill extends the same consideration to noncustodial parents.

Mississippi's child support guidelines remain unchanged: 14% of adjusted gross income for one child, scaling up to 26% for five or more children.

Effective date is July 1, 2026.
