Adds 13 synthetic opioids to Mississippi's Schedule I controlled substances list, including beta-methylacetyl fentanyl, butonitazene, flunitazene, meta-fluorofuranyl fentanyl, metodesnitazene, ortho-chlorofentanyl, ortho-methylcyclopropyl fentanyl, para-chlorofentanyl, para-fluoro valeryl fentanyl, and tetrahydrothiofuranyl fentanyl.

Amends Section 41-29-113 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which governs the Uniform Controlled Substances Act's Schedule I classification.

Schedule I substances are classified as having no legitimate medical use and high potential to cause harm.

Renumbers existing entries in the opiates section to accommodate the new additions, with the list now extending to 117 enumerated substances.

Bill has passed both chambers and been sent to the Governor for signature.
