Creates the Grade 5 Algebra-Readiness Indicator to guide middle school math placement and intervention, though it cannot be used as a sole criterion for student promotion or retention

Establishes the Moving Mathematics in Mississippi Fund in the State Treasury to support math coaches, screener development, professional development, and program operations, with unexpended balances carrying forward to the next fiscal year

Requires memoranda of understanding between the department and participating districts, with priority given to high-need districts based on achievement gaps, teacher vacancies, and rural access
