Increases Mississippi's minimum teacher salary scale by $8,000 across all license types and experience levels, effective for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.

Raises entry-level teacher salaries to range from $49,500 (Class A license) to $53,500 (Class AAAA license), up from $41,500-$45,500 under the current schedule.

Increases maximum salaries for teachers with 35+ years of experience to range from $68,800 (Class A) to $79,400 (Class AAAA), up from $60,800-$71,400 currently.

Maintains existing $6,000 annual salary supplements for teachers with National Board certification and similar professional credentials, in addition to the new base salary increases.

Takes effect July 1, 2026, amending Section 37-19-7 of the Mississippi Code.
