Establishes the Mississippi Search and Rescue Program under the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security to coordinate search and rescue operations following natural or man-made disasters

Authorizes the Office to develop, coordinate, and maintain state search and rescue resources, including coordinated responses with other states and the federal government

Requires the Office director to designate staff for administrative duties and hire personnel for urban search and rescue operations, planning, and logistics

Creates the Mississippi Search and Rescue Program Fund in the State Treasury to receive grants, gifts, state appropriations, and federal funds, with unexpended balances and interest earnings rolling over each fiscal year

Takes effect July 1, 2026
