Amends Mississippi Code Section 25-31-5 to maintain six (6) full-time legal assistants in the Fourteenth Circuit Court District, reversing a previously scheduled reduction to five (5) assistants that was set to take effect January 1, 2026.

Preserves scheduled increases for other districts: Ninth Circuit gains one assistant (to 4) by January 1, 2027; Eighteenth Circuit gains two (to 4) by January 1, 2027; Twentieth Circuit gains three (to 10) by January 1, 2027; Twenty-first Circuit gains one (to 8) by January 1, 2027.

Maintains authorization for each circuit court district to receive two additional legal assistants if funded by legislative appropriation or county board of supervisors resolution.

Effective date is July 1, 2026.
