Establishes a 12-member Artificial Intelligence in Education Task Force to evaluate AI applications in K-12 education and develop policy recommendations for responsible use by students and educators

State Superintendent of Education serves as Chair, with members appointed by the Governor (4), Lieutenant Governor (4), and Speaker of the House (4), representing education, technology, ethics, data privacy, and workforce development expertise

Task force must meet at least four times between September and December 2026, with all meetings open to the public, and submit a final report to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Speaker by December 15, 2026

Policy recommendations must address academic integrity, acceptable AI uses, student/teacher data privacy, parental access to student AI inputs, and procurement requirements including age-appropriate content filters and prohibitions on unauthorized data sales

Task force dissolves January 1, 2027, with the Department of Education required to post the final report on its website for public access
