Reconstitutes the Tax Sales Study Committee, which dissolved on January 1, 2026, to continue studying problems with unmerchantable and uninsurable titles resulting from tax sales, blight from the current tax sale process, and other inconsistencies

Expands legislative membership from 4 to 6 members: 3 Senators appointed by the Lieutenant Governor and 3 House members appointed by the Speaker (increased from 2 each)

Retains other committee members: one chancery clerk, one tax assessor, and the Secretary of State (or designee) as ex officio nonvoting member

Previous appointments and procedures adopted before the January 1, 2026 dissolution remain effective for the reconstituted committee

Extends the committee's dissolution date from January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2027
