Creates an 11-member Study Committee on Mathematical Literacy to examine methods for improving math skills of Kindergarten through 3rd-grade public school students

Committee must study standardized math curriculum, evaluate applying provisions of the Literacy-Based Promotion Act to math education, and assess costs of expanding the data coaches program to math literacy

Membership includes the State Superintendent of Education (or designee), 3 senators appointed by Lieutenant Governor, 3 representatives appointed by Speaker, plus chairs and vice-chairs of Senate and House Education Committees

Committee must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature by December 1, 2026, with the State Department of Education providing staff support

Committee dissolves on January 1, 2027, or upon final report submission, whichever occurs first
