Revises licensure qualifications for radiologist assistants to require graduation from an ARRT-accredited radiologist assistant education program or radiology practitioner assistant school, passage of the ARRT radiologist assistant examination, and current registration as a radiologic technologist with the Mississippi State Department of Health

Authorizes radiologist assistants to notify health care providers treating a patient that ordered imaging procedures have been completed

Restricts radiologist assistants to communicating their initial observations only to the supervising radiologist, not to other providers

Permits radiologist assistants to communicate the radiologist's final or preliminary interpretation to other health care providers

Maintains existing prohibitions on radiologist assistants interpreting images, making diagnoses, or prescribing medications or therapies; effective July 1, 2026
