Grants civil liability immunity to charitable organizations for acts or omissions while providing services, assistance, shelter, transportation, emergency response, and related activities during declared emergencies, government-ordered emergencies, or impending weather events

Defines "charitable organization" as religious or civic groups exempt from taxation under 26 USC § 501 that are registered with the Secretary of State and supported wholly or partially by private donations

Defines "impending weather event" as any forecasted or developing weather condition posing credible threat to life, property, or public safety, including hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, ice storms, extreme heat, extreme cold, or severe storms

Immunity does not apply to acts or omissions arising from wanton, willful, or intentional misconduct

Takes effect July 1, 2026
