Extends the repeal date of the City of Starkville's Economic Development, Tourism and Convention Tax from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2030

The tax is a 2% levy on gross income from restaurants selling prepared food and beverages within Starkville city limits

Tax revenue is distributed to multiple entities: 40% to Starkville parks, 20% to Mississippi State University for student activities, 15% each to the Oktibbeha County Economic Development Authority and Visitors and Convention Council, and 10% retained by the city

The Mississippi Department of Revenue collects the tax and retains 3% for administrative costs before distributing proceeds to the city

Funds are dedicated solely to economic development, tourism, parks, and student activities and cannot be used as general fund revenues
