Appropriates $6,482,062 from the State General Fund to the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning for the Forest and Wildlife Research Center at Mississippi State University for fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027)

Authorizes an additional $1,375,700 in expenditures from special source funds collected by or available to the Forest and Wildlife Research Center

Designates $450,000 of the special source funds to come from the Education Enhancement Fund

Prohibits general funds from replacing withdrawn federal or special funds used for salaries

Requires purchasing preference for Mississippi Industries for the Blind when bids are equal in price, quality, and service
