Appropriates $1.8 million from the State General Fund and $137.77 million from special funds to the Mississippi Department of Employment Security for fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027)

Authorizes 379 permanent and 46 time-limited positions with $29.87 million allocated for personal services, including $28.96 million for salaries, wages, and fringe benefits

Designates $33.05 million from the Unemployment Trust Fund for One-Stop Career Center operations, unemployment compensation administration, technology improvements, and facility improvements

Appropriates $20.54 million from the General Fund and authorizes $59.27 million in special funds for the Office of Workforce Development, including $15.6 million for the Career Coaching Program

Sets performance targets including 2,000 jobs retained or upskilled, 3,000 students completing priority workforce credentials before graduation, and 30,000 students in grades 8-12 exposed to priority occupations
