Vic A. Gauthreaux, Jr., of Diamondhead, Mississippi, selected as "Instructor of the Year" at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College's Harrison County Campus

The award is given by the MGCCC Alumni Association based on nominations from students, faculty, and administrators evaluating teaching excellence, college service, community service, and professional development

Gauthreaux has served as an Information Systems Technology Instructor at MGCCC for 10 years

He holds an Associate of Applied Science from MGCCC, a Bachelor of Science from Western Governors University, and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University

Prior to teaching, he worked as a website designer for Coast Services and as a field technician for MGCCC
