Dr. Gabriel Posadas, a Biology Instructor at the George County Center of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, is commended for being selected as "Instructor of the Year"

The award is presented by the MGCCC Alumni Association based on nominations from students, faculty, and administrators evaluating teaching excellence, college service, community service, and professional development

Dr. Posadas holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, a Master of Biological Sciences, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Systems and Workforce Development, all from Mississippi State University

He has been employed at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for four years, with prior experience as a graduate teaching assistant and research assistant at Mississippi State University

The resolution is sponsored by 12 senators and directs that a copy be presented to Dr. Posadas and forwarded to the MGCCC President
