Coached football, girls basketball, and track in Mississippi for over 30 years, including 33 years at Pelahatchie where he led the football team to a state championship in 2001

Native of Ackerman and French Camp alumnus who began coaching in Kosciusko in 1981 as head coach for track and girls basketball and assistant football coach

Inducted into the Mississippi Association of Coaches Hall of Fame in 2021, served on the MAC Board of Directors from 2000-2013, and held leadership positions as Vice President (2013-2014) and President (2014-2015)
