Jackson Academy Raider Football Team won the MAIS 4A Division 1 State Championship on November 22, defeating Hartfield Academy 50-14 at Mississippi College's Robinson-Hale Stadium

The championship marks the program's tenth state title and completed an 11-1 season under second-year Head Coach David Duggan

Junior running back Aaric Beasley rushed for over 140 yards with three touchdowns, while Josef Walker added three rushing touchdowns and passed for over 100 yards, with the team accumulating nearly 300 yards rushing

Defenders Adam Alexander and Carter Mathison each recorded 11 tackles against Hartfield Academy, which had won the previous two state championships

The resolution commends the team, coaches, parents, and sponsors and directs presentation to Head Coach David Duggan, Head of School Eddie Wettach, and the Jackson Academy Board of Trustees
