Daniel Wile of Meridian, Mississippi is commended as the State Games of Mississippi 2025 Male Athlete of the Year, recognized alongside the Youth and Female Athletes of the Year at the Capitol in March

Wile has earned one Gold and one Silver Medal in cycling, plus two Gold and two Silver Medals in Masters Swimming through the State Games

Wile completed three Ironman races, including the 2022 Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, and was named the 2021 Heart O' Dixie Triathlon Champion

The 2025 State Games featured more than 5,200 athletes competing in more than 40 events across 18 counties
