South Panola High School Junior Varsity Cheerleaders won the National High School Junior Varsity Game Day Championship at the UCA National Cheer Championship in Orlando, Florida, on February 2, 2026

This marks the first UCA National title in South Panola High School history

The team consists of 31 cheerleaders coached by Mary Booth, Sara Helen Ware, Tori Beth Jenkins, and Aerial Sanford

South Panola Varsity Cheerleaders also competed in the largest division and placed in the top 30% at the same event

The resolution directs that a copy be presented to the team and forwarded to Principal David Odom and the South Panola School District School Board
