South Panola High School Air Force JROTC Drone Team won its third consecutive Grand Championship at the Big JROTC Showdown in Mesquite, Texas, marking the first time in school history a drone team captured three major championship titles in a single season

Team A won Grand Champions while Team C received the Judge's Award for professionalism, teamwork, and creative decision-making under pressure, competing against teams from Texas and Arkansas

The program ranks in the Top 4 nationally among all Air Force JROTC drone programs and Top 50 globally

The team is led by instructors Tech Sergeant Rodney Williams (Head Coach), Master Sergeant Vonetta Roseman, Ms. Lashandra Carr, and Mrs. Denise Pope

The Mississippi Senate formally commends the team and directs the resolution be presented to the instructors, Principal David Odom, and the South Panola School District School Board
