Ken Cyree retired in December 2025 after 17 years as Dean of the University of Mississippi School of Business Administration, making him the second-longest-serving business dean in university history and the longest-serving business school dean in the Southeastern Conference.

Raised $54.7 million to support the school during his tenure, including $17 million for faculty support and $23.8 million for the school's endowment.

Grew enrollment by 73% from 2020 to 5,793 students in Fall 2024, with a record freshman class of 1,786 students.

Established new programs and facilities including the Career Preparation Center, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship major and minor, and the Rebel Venture Student Fund.

Published 24 peer-reviewed journal articles on banking and finance topics and received Outstanding Teacher of the Year (2007) and Outstanding Senior Researcher (2014) awards.
