Warren Central High School boys and girls swim teams won the 2025 Mississippi High School Activities Association Class II State Championships, marking the first state championships in school history for both programs.

The state championship meet was held on October 18, 2025, in Tupelo, Mississippi, with the girls' team finishing as co-champions with West Jones High School and the boys' team winning by 20 points over Pearl River Central High School.

The teams combined to win four relay events and 19 top-four finishes, with individual state titles won by Avery Greer in the girls' 200 yard freestyle and Jacob Byrd in the boys' 500 yard freestyle.

Head Coach Terry Wong led the boys' team to three consecutive district championships prior to the state title.

The resolution will be presented to Coach Terry Wong, Principal Dr. Tonya Magee, and transmitted to the Warren Central School Board.
