Kossuth High School Lady Aggies Cheer Team won two national titles at the 2026 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships in the Large Non-Tumbling Game Day Division and Small Non-Tumbling Intermediate Traditional Division

The team has won six Mississippi State High School Cheerleading Championships in the 3A Gameday Division over the past seven years (2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025), including five consecutive state titles

Coach Baylee Connell leads the 22-member team, with Joseph Arkansas serving as choreographer

The resolution directs that a copy be presented to Coach Connell, Principal Brian Johnson, and forwarded to the Alcorn County School Board
