Requires the Montana Department of Revenue to certify two separate classes of responsible server and sales training programs based on whether employees work at on-premises or off-premises alcohol consumption locations

Off-premises consumption training programs (such as for liquor store employees) must be completed in half the time or less compared to on-premises programs (such as for bar or restaurant employees)

Training programs must continue to cover alcohol's effects on the body, criminal/civil/administrative penalties, ID checking procedures, documentation gathering, and handling intoxicated persons

Prohibits the department from directly providing training programs; certification of third-party programs only

Effective date: January 1, 2026
