Removes the distinction between "half-time" and "full-time" kindergarten programs in Montana law, simplifying kindergarten to a single 1-year program with minimum hour requirements of 360 hours (half-time) or 720 hours (full-time)

Requires districts offering full-time kindergarten to allow parents to enroll their child half-time if they choose

Eliminates the special ANB (Average Number Belonging) calculation provisions for districts transitioning from half-time to full-time kindergarten programs

Removes provisions allowing ANB increases for initial year kindergarten program implementation based on census counts of 5-year-olds

Effective July 1, 2025, applying to school fiscal years beginning on or after that date
