Expands eligibility for guaranteed license/permit replacement to armed service members deployed at least 2 months outside of Montana (previously required deployment outside the continental United States)

Service members who forfeit a license or permit won through a drawing due to deployment in support of a contingency operation are guaranteed the same license or permit without additional fee upon return

Applicants may claim the replacement license in the year of return from deployment or the first year the license/permit becomes available after return

Veterans and disabled armed forces members with combat-connected injuries remain eligible for deer tags and special antelope licenses at half the license fee

Montana National Guard and federal reserve members who served at least 2 months outside the state in contingency operations continue to qualify for free conservation and fishing/combination sports licenses for up to 5 years after return
