Transfers administration of the Adult Basic Education Fund from the Office of Public Instruction (Superintendent) to the Department of Labor and Industry

Department of Labor and Industry assumes responsibility for directing fund distribution and establishing financial administration, accounting, and reporting policies

Eligible fund recipients remain unchanged: school districts, community college districts, tribal colleges, public libraries, community-based organizations, or consortiums in Montana

Secretary of State required to send a copy of the act to each federally recognized tribal government in Montana

Effective date: July 1, 2025
